About the Webinar: Nowadays, Consumer Protection has become more prominent. Similarly, the human rights have also become progressively prevalent. The substantive and procedural tests of human rights support the contention to broaden the definition of human rights by adding the consumer rights within its definition. In order to maintain human dignity in a consumer-oriented society, every consumer must be protected against big business organizations, monopolies, cartels, and multinational corporations. An individual’s prosperity, honor, and dignity can oblige as the basis for recognizing consumer rights as human rights. This webinar helps provide insights about the inter contentedness and the inter relationship between the human rights and consumer rights.
