Interface of Competition policy with the Consumer law

About the Webinar The Competition law brings in various policies that end up affecting the consumers protected under the Consumer Protection Act 2019. The webinar aims to distinguish these policies and what remedies are provided to the consumers of a company from being exploited. The webinar will provide a detailed overview of the Policies that are framed under the Competition Law and how this might impose problems for Consumers at large.

Speaker– Mr. Avinash Singh

About the Speaker-. Mr. Avinash is presently working as Assistant Professor at Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad that is constituent of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune. He has completed LLM in Business and Commercial. He has been associated with several journals as editor/advisor and published edited book volumes on legal issues with International Publishers. His interest extends to areas relating to constitutional law, corporate law, IPR, environmental law. He has presented papers in more than 60 national and international conferences. He holds a pro-bono position as Director (Research) at non-profit organizations like Institue of Policy Research and Studies, Samvit Foundation along with others.
