She has previously worked as a Law Officer at Human Rights Law Network, Mumbai and she is currently practicing Sr. Advocate Indira Jaising, New Delhi. She has publications in many reputed Journals and maintains a personal blog, titled, ‘Lunatic Cacophony’.
Pankaj Avasthi is currently working as a Assistant Professor in G.D. Goenka University. He is an expert in the field of Constitutional Law, Civil Procedure & Personal Law. Pavithra Vasudev is a graduated with BA.,LLB (Hons) specializing in Constitutional Law from National Law University, Jodhpur. She is currently working as an Associate Consultant at KPMG in their Governance, Risk & Compliance Services.
In her brief experience as a litigating lawyer she has worked on matters pertaining to Habitual absenteeism under Service Law, Quashing of Criminal Proceedings under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, Interim applications under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, Section 5 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 and on the veracity of schemes offered by the real estate developers under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016. Have appeared before the Subordinate Courts of Bengaluru that includes the City Civil Court, Magistrate Court, Family Court as well as before the District Consumer Forum, State Consumer Commission and Karnataka Appellate Tribunal.
Her area of interest includes subjects like Constitutional Law, Consumer Protection Act, Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, Mental Healthcare Act, 2017 and Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
